Mazanti-Andersen advises on EUR 80 million investment in EV charging platform Monta

The Danish Charging Software startup Monta has raised EUR 80 million in a Series B round. The round was co-led by Energize Capital, GreenPoint Partners and Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO) with participation from existing investors including Headline, byFounders, AENU and Creandum and new investor, Quantum Light. Mazanti Transactions advised the investors in connection with the financing round.

Monta was founded in late 2020 and its core offering is a software platform designed to simplify both charging for end users and the provision of charging stations for businesses. EV drivers can use Monta’s software to charge on 600.000+ charge points across Europe.

The Series B round brings the total funding to EUR 130 million in just three years. The EUR 80 million in funds will be used to double its team size, invest further in product R&D, and to expand their valued partner network to drive society-wide electrification.
