Bankruptcy quarantine

In 2013, a new rule regarding bankruptcy quarantine was introduced, where a person can be denied the right to found companies and participate in the management of it due to gross negligent business practices.

The vast majority of these cases are handled in the Maritime and Commercial Court, where a team of lawyers is appointed in cases of bankruptcy quarantine. Lawyer Jørgen Lange is appointed to fulfill the role of assigned counsel to the debtor.

Mazanti-Andersen also has appointed three permanent curators in connection with the bankruptcy proceedings to ascertain whether there are grounds to open a case on bankruptcy quarantine. We have been lawyers for several of the leading cases in this area, which forms the basis of current practice.
