Mazanti-Andersen advises on investment in Electric Vehicle charging platform Monta
The Danish EV charging platform Monta has closed a EUR 15 million Series A round led by Creandum. The Stockholm-based venture capital firm has previously invested in, among others, Pleo, Spotify and Klarna. In addition to Creandum, Headline, byFounders and a number of existing investors also participated in the round.
Monta was founded in late 2020 and its core offering is a software platform designed to simplify both charging for end users and the provision of charging stations for businesses. The app has more than 10,000 active users in Scandinavia and the UK.
The round takes the total raised by Monta to EUR 20 million since the company was founded. The funding will help solidify Monta’s position in its five active markets and support its expansion into new European markets as well as doubling its headcount.
Mazanti Transactions advised Creandum and byFounders in connection with the investment.
