Upfin is the first Danish venture fund specialising in early-stage Fintech. It is founded by Johan Lorenzen and Oliver Sjöstedt and is deeply rooted in the Nordic fintech community with Copenhagen Fintech as a strategic partner. The new VC invests at the pre-seed and seed stage, either as lead or joining as a specialised co-investor.
Through fund I, Upfin aims to invest in 15-20 fintech companies and will add specialised capital with deep industry expertise and an unparalleled network within financial services.
Mazanti Transactions advised Upfin in connection with the entire process from initial discussions on fund structure, fund scope and setup to successful first close.
